Achterkerke Edelstahl is a member in the Mechanical Engineering Cooperative Initiative (KIM), a fusion of medium sized companies into a powerful network in the Greater Braunschweig area.

The common aims are securing the location, preservation and creation of jobs and strengthening the economy in the whole region.
